How Grouper handles information used to create, manage and fulfil your travel plan.
Updated 20 August 2026
Information Grouper may collect
Information needed to create and manage a travel plan may include your name, contact details, date of birth, country of residence, travel preferences, payment records and, when required for ticketing, passport or other travel-document information. If you use a Family Travel Wallet contribution link, Grouper may also collect the contributor name, email address, contribution amount, optional message and payment/reconciliation references needed to process and record that contribution. Review and referral functions may also store your review content and rating, review verification status, referral code, referral attribution and qualification/reward status.
How information is used
Grouper uses personal information to operate accounts and shared travel wallets, prepare travel plans, reconcile owner and family contributions, issue transaction communications, support ticketing, verify review eligibility, attribute referrals, prevent misuse, improve the service and meet applicable operational or legal requirements. Review verification uses internal records only to determine whether a customer relationship is genuine; public review output does not expose payment references, passport details or other sensitive verification records.
Who information may be shared with
Only information reasonably required to provide the relevant service may be shared with service providers involved in payment processing, customer support, technology operations, travel fulfilment or airline ticketing. A Family Travel Wallet plan owner may see contribution activity and an optional contributor message; where the contributor chooses the wallet-display privacy option, the shared wallet uses a generic supporter label while processor and reconciliation records still retain payer details. Grouper does not present customer data as being available to advertisers.
Security and access
Grouper restricts sensitive operational areas to authorised administrators and uses account-level controls for member information. Family contribution links use a long secret token and can expire or be revoked by the plan owner. Raw card details are intended to be handled by the approved payment processor rather than stored in the Grouper interface.
Your information
You may contact Grouper Support to ask about the personal information associated with your account, request correction of inaccurate details or raise a privacy concern. Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, record-keeping or legal purposes.
Questions about your information?
Use Grouper Support from your account to request access, correction or assistance with a privacy concern. Privacy requests are recorded as support cases so the request, response and any required identity verification remain traceable.
